About the game.

Screen Tear is a UI-based real-time strategy game where you play as an AI who must guide four survivors out of a deteriorating facility while managing resources like power and oxygen.

The challenge of this project was adapting to version control changes and managing a larger team. This was my first semester-long student project.

Reflection.

This project included organizing weekly discipline meetings to communicate progress and review upcoming deadlines. I met production deadlines using delegation strategies based off triage principles, and sometimes had to make difficult decisions regarding what content would be able to fit into the game.

During the middle of this project, a guest composer from the College of Music was added to the project, and I helped to make the onboard process as smooth as possible.
